The race begins with the build.
A real-time multiplayer browser racing game where players engineer, customize and collect open-wheel cars, then race them against friends.
The problem
A racing experience needs to connect the decisions made in the garage with the machine taken onto the circuit. GARAGE brings configuration, circuit selection and collection into one browser experience.
What I built
I built the full-stack game, its interactive 3D experience and realtime systems, bringing product design and browser engineering together.
Choose a circuit. Shape a machine.
Circuit selection exposes track geometry and conditions before the build. The builder keeps the car in view while players explore engineering controls, compare a setup and inspect its projected lap time. A completed build becomes a collectible machine card.
Conditions & track geometry
Setup & 3D inspection
Realtime multiplayer
Start with circuit conditions and track geometry: the setting for the driving experience.
A schematic of the product journey — not a reproduction of a playable circuit.
Circuit context
Compare circuit length, sectors, downforce and tyre stress before committing to a round.
Interactive engineering
Inspect the car and explore aero, powertrain, suspension, tyres and other setup controls.
Build and collect
Customize an open-wheel machine, keep the finished build and take it into the racing experience.

3D interaction meets realtime play.
Next.js, React and TypeScript support the application. Three.js, React Three Fiber and Drei provide the 3D stack, alongside GSAP and Anime.js for motion. The realtime stack includes Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects and WebSockets, with Supabase and Vercel also part of the implementation.

A machine worth keeping.
The completed-build screen presents the configured car as a collectible object. The machine name, circuit and setup context carry through into the card, connecting the collection to the choices made in the builder.
